In case it's not obvious, I haven't found motivation to post in a long, long while.

I'm still here, just quietly reading, commenting, and <3-ing you all.

Me: dancing in bed is illegal
Britt: Its only illegal if you are partnered with a llama.
Britt: No llama, no problem.

Breathing in, I calm my body.
Breathing out, I smile.
Dwelling in the present moment,
I know this is a wonderful moment!

  One day a man of the people said to Zen Master Ikkyu: "Master, will you please write for me some maxims of the highest wisdom?"
  Ikkyu immediately took his brush and wrote the word "Attention."
  "Is that all?" asked the man. "Will you not add something more?"
  Ikkyu then wrote twice running: "Attention. Attention."
  "Well," remarked the man rather irritably, "I really don't see much depth or subtlety in what you have just written."
  Then Ikkyu wrote the same word three times running: "Attention. Attention. Attention."
  Half angered, the man demanded: "What does that word 'Attention' mean anyway?"
  And Ikkyu answered gently: "Attention means attention."

"Why so hard?" the kitchen coal once said to the diamond. "After all, are we not close kin?"
Why so soft? O my brothers, thus I ask you: are you not after all my brothers?

And if your hardness does not wish to flash and cut through, how can you one day create with me?
For all creators are hard. And it must seem blessedness to you to impress your hand on millennia as on wax.
Blessedness to write on the will of millennia as on bronze--harder than bronze, nobler than bronze. Only the noblest is altogether hard.
This new tablet, O my brothers, I place over you: Become hard!
